CONDOCK Befrachtungs-Gesellschaft mbH & Co. KG has been part of the Harren & Partner Group since January 2008, thus expanding global corporate activities to include the fascinating CONDOCK vessels segment. The name CONDOCK is a combination of container and dock ship and thus describes the key characteristics. For example, the three dock ships "CONDOCK II", "CONDOCK IV" as well as "CONDOCK V" are primarily equipped for the world-wide shipment and transportation of floating units as well as oversized and heavy ro-ro cargoes with a maximum unit weight of 2.000 t and heavy-lift cargoes of up to 400 t. About us

After having traded in the ship-chartering business as "Bauer & Hauschildt KG", Hamburg, for nearly three decades, in 1978 the CONDOCK-Type vessel was designed in close co-operation with a German Shipyard. Until 1984, a successive series of almost identical sistervessels were delivered and operated together with further company-owned conventional tonnage in the world-wide freight market.

The ever increasing sophistication in the marine transportation sector required unique professional attendance, engineering and marketing; consequently the CONDOCK BEFRACHTUNGS-GESELLSCHAFT, Hamburg was established in 1989. It is our aim to maintain reliability and utilization of innovative solutions for the marine shipping clientele. The international track record includes the preparation and transport of sensitive prefabricated high-dimensioned modules and pressure vessels for refineries and offshore plants in the ro-ro mode. Transport of fully erected harbour cranes, dismantled factories, windmill plants, production platforms, river passenger vessels, mega-yachts, dredging fleets and all kind of naval crafts world-wide and the long term contract for the transportation of rocket-stages from Ukraine to Long Beach for the Sea-Launch satellite project reflect further aspects of our activities.

In January 2008 the Condock Befrachtungs-Gesellschaft and their semi-submersible ro-ro vessels CONDOCK IV and CONDOCK V became part of the Harren & Partner Group and J. Poulsen Shipping. In autumn of the same year, one additional vessel of this specialized vessel type, CONDOCK II, has been purchased and has ever since been managed by Condock Befrachtungs-Gesellschaft.
